    Weekly Wow

Hey guys! Hope everyone had a great weekend! Today I’m sharing a few products I really like for when I’m super jetlagged. As I’ve gotten older, I’ve noticed that I can’t bounce back as well as I used to. My recovery time is definitely a little longer! When I get home, I like to have a nice soak to unwind my muscles from the cramped seats and just relax my brain. I use three things for a good soak and they always help me feel really refreshed afterward! I’m totally an Aztec Healing Clay convert after my first clay bath. The first time I used it, I made a full…

Travel Skincare with & Air Repair

These items were gifted to me by Air Repair Skincare; however, all opinions are my own! When I travel I always worry about my skin. Since I live in the desert, I’m never quite sure how the changes in climate might impact my complexion and PH balance so it’s always a bit of a gamble. A few years ago, I came across a new skincare line in my Birchbox that turned out to be a total game changer for me when it comes to travel skincare. My first trial with Air Repair‘s Complexion-Boosting Moisturizer was a total life changer. Between eight flights from Vegas to Los Angeles to Tokyo to…

Holiday Gifting & Fun with Nordstrom

I’ll be honest- I love shopping for Christmas gifts but I hate holiday crowds! I like to get what I need and GET OUT. Fortunately, our newly remodeled (and adorable) Nordstrom at Fashion Show Mall makes it so easy to do just that. They have gifts for everyone on your list no matter what the interest and Fashion Show Mall does so much to make holiday shopping a breeze! Each Thursday between Thanksgiving and Christmas, Fashion Show Mall will have special local priority parking on the second level at Nordstrom and Dillard’s. They’re also offering free gift wrapping for up to five gifts with a receipt so you don’t have…

    Desert Hair and Somerfield Beauty

This post was written in collaboration with Somerfield Beauty.  As usual, all opinions are my own! (Ignore the fact that my hair is a mess- it’s really hard to smooth it out when it’s dried out!) I love a good hair mask but it’s SO HARD to find one that works really well more than once! I had seen the Somerfield Beauty hair masks on Instagram and was dying to try them. I loved the idea of a mask that would really set into my hair and not be messy at all. Something I could use without getting it all over my hands and something that wouldn’t be super greasy…

    Forum Shops Fall Kickoff Event

Can you believe fall is just around the corner? How crazy is that? This past weekend, I got to attend a really fun blogger event at the Forum Shops inside Caesars Palace. It was organized by our friend, Christie (I Can Style U) and featured some really great retailers who told us all about their new products and fall trends. Our first stop was the Dior Beauty Boutique.  We have one of five Dior Beauty Boutiques in the whole country so it was really cool getting to sip champagne and hear about their new products including the Joy fragrance which was Dior’s first new fragrance in years.  Our Dior Beauty…

Exploring the Palms with Urban Decay

A couple months ago, I had the priviledge of attending the local Urban Decay event with Stephanie! I’ve been a huge Urban Decay fan for years and years. Back in the day, I coveted their bright colors and delicious body powders. It was always fun picking up new pieces! The event was held at the newly remodeled Palms Las Vegas. We started the evening at the Unknown Bar which is distinct because of the giant 13 foot Tiger Shark encased over the bar area. It’s pretty insane! We then were given a grand tour of the property’s artwork- and there was a lot of amazing artwork! A giant marble Barbie…

    My Favorite Sleep Products

Some of these item were gifted for review purposes; however, all opinions are my own! This post does contain affiliate links so if you make a purchase through the link, I may make a small commission. Even so, all opinions are still my own honest opinions! Moving is weird. I hadn’t moved in about 15 years so it’s definitely been a struggle. Getting used to a completely new environment is strange and if I’m not motivated to actually fall asleep, I will lie in bed and stress. I invested in a few products to help me relax before bed- I don’t like wasting valuable sleep time! Here are the top…

Fun Ways to Use Dry Shampoo

Summer in Vegas is a disaster. It’s so hard to feel or look nice when it’s 120 degrees outside and everyone outside Vegas is trying to make you feel better by saying it’s a dry heat. That doesn’t matter when your shoes are melting into the ground. If I had to pick one favorite beauty product for summer, it would be dry shampoo. My dry shampoo gets so much use in the warmer months and here’s why- The obvious use would be what it’s intended for. Even though it’s gross out, it’s not super healthy to shampoo hair every single day- especially when it’s so dry already. Dry shampoo buys…

Rest & Relaxation- My Favorite Products for Unwinding

Hey guys!HAPPY FRIDAY!!!! I know it’s been a while but trust me, I have a lot of great excuses! We had a pretty huge family disaster which is still ongoing so things have been rough to say the least. Also- I moved! Downsizing a home of fifteen years kind of sucks because I’m not great at throwing things out but we did it! I have to say- 2018 has been a really strange year but not always in the worst ways. There have been some great accomplishments too! More on those later! Since it’s been a pretty stressful year, today I’m sharing some of my favorite things that help me…
