    Weekly Wow

Happy Monday! I get a lot of questions about the tech I use so I thought I’d share my faves here today! I have a bigger light for shoots and I use it sometimes but this little one tends to provide all the light I really need. It’s super small and portable so it travels really well too. It also charges via USB which eliminates the need to have spare batteries and chargers handy. I always try to have a power source handy and these chargers are my favorites. They last way longer than others I’ve had in the past. And they come in rose gold! They also have different…

    Weekly Wow

Hey guys! Hope everyone had a great weekend! I’m so obsessed with these headphones. For one- they’ve lasted way longer than I expected them to last. Two- they come in a ton of colors. Three- the sound quality is good. Four- they’re perfect for making people LEAVE YOU ALONE. Five- they’re inexpensive. I literally have multiple pairs around my house. The battery lasts a decent amount of time too! Prime Wardrobe ROCKS. Has anyone else tried it? Basically, if you have Amazon Prime, you have access to Prime Wardrobe. You can try on a certain amount of pieces and have a week to try on and pick before shipping them…

    Pardon the Dust

Hey, y’all! You may have (or may not have) noticed some changes here on the blog. A few things have happened- I switched hosts. I went back to designing certain components myself. I reformatted a lot of posts. I deleted about 200 posts from the last five years. Did you know I had over 800 posts on this blog? Crazy, right? A lot of them were pretty pointless since there’s really no need to blog about absolutely nothing so I figured some of it just wasn’t necessary to have up here. Other posts are super outdated and some were just kind of sad to have around. Anyway, watch this space…

Chris Lane at the House of Blues Las Vegas

You guys know how much I love a good country show! When Chris Lane told me back in July that he would be back in October, I scrapped all my plans for the anticipated weekend because there was no way I was missing that show! The House of Blues is undoubtedly one of my absolute favorite venues in Las Vegas. Not only has it stood the test of time where so many other venues have closed or changed, it’s just an all around great place. The sound is always great, the staff is friendly and helpful, and there is not a single bad seat in the house. This round was…

Hamptons White Party at Andiron Steak & Sea

I love a good theme party. Last summer, one of the events that I really wanted to attend was the Hamptons White Party at Andiron Steak and Sea inside Downtown Summerlin. Unfortunately, my schedule didn’t allow for it so I was SUPER excited this year when I got an invitation to attend and bring a few of my blogger friends with me! I brought Graciella (Dizzy Spangle), Mallory (Life by MJ), and Brie (Laqing in Creativity) with me and we had such a fun time! The weather was actually kind of perfect which is super rare in the summer here in Vegas. We had fun with this adorable Peroni bike…

Vegas Lifestyle Influencers- DoNut Stress with Carl’s Donuts

Who else loves a good donut? I’m not gonna lie- donuts are everywhere now. It seems like every corner has some fancy shop that has some unique and strange donuts. Honestly, some of them are pretty good. Being a donut fiend, I’m willing to give any of them a try. We had a fun event at Carl’s Donuts last month and this one was one for the books! Carl’s Donuts has been around for DECADES so they really know what they’re doing. The owner is Carl’s granddaughter, Amber; so you KNOW that the family recipes have been continued in the most authentic way! We had a chance to enjoy a…

Grand Canyon West with Grand Canyon Destinations

Our tour was complimentary from Grand Canyon Destinations; however, all opinions are my own! Naturally, the Grand Canyon is on pretty much everyone’s bucket list.  I’ve visited a bunch of times in my life, but never as an adult and never with friends. When we had the opportunity to do a private tour to the West Rim, we jumped at the chance. We went as a small group of four (me, Stephanie, Miranda, and Melissa) and started bright and early. Grand Canyon Destinations does pick-ups and drop-offs at a ton of locations on the Strip so we picked Planet Hollywood since it’s central and parking is still free (this is…

Vegas Lifestyle Influencers- Artsy Fun at Corks & Crafts

Dinners and cocktails are fun but it’s always nice to have a great girl’s night out that’s interactive! We recently were invited to arrange an event at Corks ‘n Crafts for the Vegas Lifestyle Influencers and we loved the idea- while wine and paint classes are always a blast, it’s so much fun to learn new skills! We had our friends who arranged the evening pick out something generic and easy to customize and I have to say, we all loved the results!  There were two wines provided for the evening including rose (what girl’s night would be complete without rose) and they brought out some delicious charcuterie platters for…

NSPCA Animals in Wonderland at Casa de Shenandoah

I’ve been wanting to go to Casa de Shenandoah for years and was so sad when they closed BUT I still got a peek when the NSPCA event, Animals in Wonderland was hosted on the property! The event was so much fun and for such a great cause! They had some of the cutest fur babies at the event and I wanted to take them all home!!! After the welcome reception in the welcome center, we all piled on a shuttle into Casa de Shenandoah. From here, we hopped onto golf carts that took us to the main house. This place was beautiful! We got to tour the inside of the house…

Vegas Lifestyle Influencers- The Whole Beast Feast at Searsucker

Hey guys! I know it’s been a while but trust me, I have a lot of great excuses! We had a pretty huge family disaster which is still ongoing so things have been rough to say the least. Also- I moved! Downsizing a home of fifteen years kind of sucks because I’m not great at throwing things out but we did it! Anyhow- the girls and I celebrated the start of summer in the best way- with the Whole Beast Feast at Searsucker inside Caesars Palace. We’d had a really amazing pre-Thanksgiving feast there last year so we knew the food would be delicious. The restaurant is super cute- it’s…
